Hi everyone!

I am tryng CIS free on a useless netbook (where sometimes I try sw without messing up with my primary PCs).

when I start the browser (FF) in CIS sandbox and I download files, then I can access them only in FF download manager (the arrow on the top right). I can't find them in my download folder, I can't find them in shared space.
Could you tell me where I am wrong? where should i find them? because I want to use them out of the sandbox (they remain in the sandbox)

Can you set Comodo autosandbox to alert for action, instead of automatically sandboxing the process?
If so, is this a good way to deal with the problem of processes that get mistakenly sandboxed?

Hi,

Under Proactive security configuration and Firewall setting 'don't show pop up alerts block requests' :

If I run Iexplorer either Firefox on Comodo Sandbox, I noticed that CFW block Internet connection.

So I decide to create a rule to 'Run Virtually' with File groups, Web browsers and set to 'limited', rating 'trusted'.

After that, I launch any browsers but I still have no Internet connections.

Is it possible to run any web browsers properly (internet connection ON) with Firewall...

I know per say, it doesn't have crazy hype, but why do some people like Comodo? Here's the simple way I look at Comodo technologies in a nut shell:

Default Deny that sandboxes unknowns...

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but if their detection lacks (which I've seen it do for years)...how can someone trust that their known list of good programs is accurate (false positives on newer good programs, etc)?

If the above is somewhat true, why not choose a company that has a more accurate...

• Is there any overlap between Comodo Cloud Antivirus, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware and Zemana AntiLogger Premium?

Anyone ever had problems between the settings you have and what acctualy happens when a file is run?

Ive been playing around with the comodo leak test and i decided to run killswitch to check the restriction level, youll notice from the pictures all unrecognized apps will be run as "untrusted" yet killswitch notes it as being run "partially limited"

wondering if i need to do a clean install. I already reset the sandbox rules to default....

First, I will likely be moving from outdated Private Firewall to Comodo Firewall. I am aware of cruelsister's video for this, and thanks to her for that. However, I have so many questions regarding strategies for using Comodo Firewall. I would like to start with ransomeware protection and then build around this protection.

cruelsister's technique for autosanboxing will work for this I see. However, I would like to go further with the settings. What about HIPs? What if anything do they...

Just wondering -- why doesn't COMODO have special protection for vulnerable processes?
There is such protection in NoVirusThanks ERP, Voodooshield, and SecureAPlus.
Is there a reason why COMODO doesn't need it, or maybe it is there, but I don't know about it?
